What Is MSOR?

Management Science / Operations Research (MSOR) is known to be the discipline of applying advanced analytical and quantitative methods to help make better decisions

To arrive at more effective decisions, MSOR uses m
athematical modelling approaches, solution techniques and decision tools

The following are some methods and areas of applications in MSOR:

Hence MSOR is very useful in any organization. It is taught in the Mathematics Department as Operations Research, in Business or Economics Department as Management Science, Quantitative Analysis or Decision Science and in Engineering Department as Industrial Engineering. Read More

The Association of Asian-Pacific Operational Research Societies (APORS) was founded in 1985 to promote the development of Operations Research and its applications in all areas of the world, especially from the Asian-Pacific region.

The first three conferences have been hosted in the Asian Region, Seoul, Beijing, and Fukuoka. They have all been a success and well organized by the respective societies, KORS, ORSC, ORSJ.

Malaysia hosted 2010's APORS Conference in Penang. The four days conference was a successful initiative organized by MSORSM.
